5.3.2 E6 – INPUT BELT SPEED ERROR
OVERVIEW
If the actual belt speed is greater than the target speed by a limit and increasing then an E6 error is called. E6 errors flag
errors that will result in the belt not responding to input.
PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION
BEFORE cycling power inspect the motor
controller for error conditions (blinking red
status LED – SP600, 'E' code – MD65,
Date of last revision: 11.06

Record console error code
parameters recorded with current
error code (see ERROR LOG
section of this document)
Remove power and allow treadmill
to come to a complete stop
Inspect all electrical connections,
ensure that all connections are
properly made and there are no
shorts to adjacent conductors
APPLY POWER
Run speed feedback issue test to
ensure speed feedback OK
Run speed control issue test
to ensure speed control OK
MONITOR SYSTEM TO ENSURE
NO FURTHER ISSUES
Record error code information from
motor controller (return this information
to VISION FITNESS for evaluation)
