Layer 2 Aggregation Load Sharing Mode Configuration Example

Network requirements

1/0/1 through GigabitEthernet 1/0/4.
Configure the global load sharing mode and aggregation group-specific load sharing mode to enable
aggregation group 1 to use source MAC-based load sharing mode and aggregation group 2 to use
destination MAC-based load sharing mode.

Configure Device A
# Configure the global link aggregation load sharing mode as the source MAC-based load sharing
mode.
<DeviceA> system-view
[DeviceA] link-aggregation load-sharing mode source-mac
# Create Layer 2 aggregate interface Bridge-aggregation 1.
[DeviceA] interface bridge-aggregation 1
[DeviceA-Bridge-Aggregation1] quit
# Assign ports GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 and GigabitEthernet 1/0/2 to aggregation group 1.
[DeviceA] interface gigabitethernet 1/0/1
[DeviceA-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] port link-aggregation group 1
[DeviceA-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] quit
[DeviceA] interface gigabitethernet 1/0/2
[DeviceA-GigabitEthernet1/0/2] port link-aggregation group 1
