3. Lift up on the boom and remove the pin (Figure 50).
Slowly lower the boom to the hardstop.
4. Inspect the pin for any damage, replace if necessary.
5. Manipulate the actuator rod bearing end and apply
grease into the bearing (Figure 51). Wipe off excess
grease.

6. Lift up on the boom to align the pivot with the actuator
rod. While holding the boom, insert the pin through
both boom pivot and actuator rod (Figure 50).
7. With the pin in place, release the boom and secure the
pin with the cotter removed previously.
