Installing the Mower
Deck/Polar Trac
Parts needed for this procedure:

Mower Deck or Polar Trac Kit (sold separately)
Installing a Mower Deck Kit
1. Remove the traction unit from the shipping pallet.
2. Place a jack stand under each wheel motor and a
floor jack under the rear bumper (Figure 5), or
suspend from a over head hoist.

3. Install the summer drive tires (Figure 6)

4. Roll the summer deck and frame into position and
install the five 3/4" bolts, washers and nuts that
connect the deck frame to the rear frame (Figure 7).
Remove the lift cylinder pins to gain access to the
bolts on the right hand side. Torque the bolts to 265
foot pounds.

5. Remove the clevis pins and a 5/16" self-tapping
screw pin retainers securing the vertical tube support
assemblies to the rear of the deck frame (Figure 8).

6. Pivot open the floor plate (Figure 9).
