Hour Meter (If Equipped)
Purpose
The TimeCutter SW hour meter records hours of
operation when:
The Ignition key is ON
The seat is occupied and the seat switch is closed
Location
The hour meter is located in front of the engine on the
chassis cross member (Fig. 174).

How It Works
The TimeCutter SW hour meter records hours of
operation when:
The Ignition key is ON
The seat is occupied and the seat switch is closed
When they key is ON, a closed seat switch supplies
battery voltage to the hour meter.
The hour meter has an internal battery that keeps the
hour meter display illuminated at all times.
Testing
With the key ON and seat switch CLOSED, verify battery
voltage and ground are present at the hour meter (Fig.
175).
