smartSTREAM - BOX2IP
1. Connect your PC or your mobile device via LAN or WLAN with the
router in your home network. For this, pay attention to the respective
notes in the manual of the network end-device.
2. Put the receiver in smartSTREAM mode (BOX2IP mode), see section
8.2.2. Install on your PC or your mobile device the VLC player, pay at-
tention to the installation hints.
3. Run the VLC player and select the option MEDIA  OPEN NETWORK
STREAM.
4. Enter following URLs to load the stream list (.m3u playlist):
http://RECEIVER-IP:PORT/SAT2IP/ServiceList-1-Video.m3u, to load
the TV channel list, e. g. http://192.168.1.3:49152/SAT2IP/ServiceList-
1-Video.m3u
http://RECEIVER-IP:PORT/SAT2IP/ServiceList-1-Radio.m3u, to load
the radio channel list, e. g.
http://192.168.1.3:49152/SAT2IP/ServiceList-1-Radio.m3u
You can check the IP address of the receiver via the re-

ceiver menu  SYSTEM SETUP  NETWORK.
The port no. to insert is 49152.
5. The VLC player opens the selected channel list and shows it.
6. Save the playlist via the VLC player, to enable you to open it at the next
start of the VLC player.
Since the receiver's IP address is saved also, we strictly
recommend assigning a fixed IP address to the receiver!

Otherwise you cannot open the saved stream addresses of
the playlist anymore, if the receiver gets a new IP address
via DHCP.
A detailed description how to obtain the m3u list and the RTSP stream
addresses you can find in the complete manual which you can download
in the most current version from the internet page which is mentioned on
the extension page (menu item support).
