5.7.13 CA Smartcard

The receiver has a Conditional Access slot.
This interface allows for decrypting various encrypted channels using a
smartcard.
To use a smartcard:
1. Switch off the receiver using the power switch on the rear panel.
2. Carefully insert the smartcard into the slot at the rear panel.
3. Switch on the receiver.

4. After inserting the smartcard, you can select the respective channel. It
may take some seconds until the channel is released.

Please also note the instructions of the card manufac-
turer!
There is a sub menu
pending on the used smartcard you can call several
functions, e. g. indication of the validity, maturity con-
figuration....
