4.4.2 I/C Holder Assy

In this process, there is a possibility of ink leakage. Take great
C A U T I O N
care not to stain any surrounding objects with ink.
Take care during work not to damage any tube.
1.
Remove the Middle Housing. (p.88)
2.
Remove the screw, disengage the hook and remove the Tube Stopper.
(See Figure 4-23)
3.
Disengage the hooks (x5) of the Right and Left I/C Holder Assy from the printer
frame.
4.
Unhook and remove the Spacer to release the Joint Clamp.
5.
Disconnect the tube joints (x2) of the Valve Assy.
6.
Remove the screws (x2) securing the Right I/C Holder Assy.
7.
Remove the Right I/C Holder Assy while disengaging it from the locating boss, located
inside, and by sliding it toward the front.
8.
Remove the screws (x2) securing the Left I/C Holder Assy.
9.
Detach all the cables from the left side wall.
10. Remove the Left I/C Holder Assy by shifting it to the left while disengaging it from the
locating boss on the left side first and then by sliding it toward the front.
11. Remove the I/C Holder Assy from the printer.
Refer to the following section for the connection of the I/C
Holder Assy and the Valve Assy (including Ink Tube Assy):

Route the power cable as shown at right.

aperture of the I/C
Holder Assy.
