Puesta en servicio de una
batería nueva (04_19, 04_20)
•
Asegurarse de que el conmuta-
dor de arranque esté en la posi-
ción "OFF".
•
Extraer el asiento.
•
Desenroscar los dos tornillos (1)
y desplazar el seguro (2).
•
Desenroscar y extraer el tornillo
(3) del borne negativo (-).

Desplazar lateralmente el cable
negativo (4).
•
Desenroscar y extraer el tornillo
(5) del borne positivo (+).
•
Desplazar lateralmente el cable
positivo (6).
•
Sujetar firmemente la batería (7)
y retirarla de su alojamiento le-
vantándola en forma perpendi-
cular al mismo.
•
Colocar la batería sobre una su-

perficie plana, en un lugar fres-
co y seco.
•
Volver a colocar el asiento.
Para instalar una nueva batería ejecu-
tar las operaciones descritas en sen-
tido inverso.
ATENCIÓN
PARA VOLVER A MONTARLA, PRIME-
RO SE DEBE CONECTAR EL CABLE
EN EL BORNE POSITIVO (+) Y LUEGO
EL DEL BORNE NEGATIVO (-).

Use of a new battery (04_19,

04_20)
•
Make sure that the ignition
switch is set to "OFF".
•
Remove the saddle.
•
Undo the two screws (1) and
move the lock (2).
•
Unscrew and remove the screw
(3) of the negative terminal (-).
•
Move the negative lead (4)
aside.
•
Unscrew and remove the screw
(5) of the positive terminal (+).
•
Move the positive lead (6) aside.
•
Hold the battery (7) firmly and lift
it out of its compartment perpen-
dicularly to its position.
•
Put the battery away on a level
surface, in a cool and dry place.
•
Refit the saddle.
To install a new battery follow the op-
erations described above but in re-
verse order.
CAUTION
UPON REFITTING, CONNECT THE
LEAD TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL
(+) FIRST AND AFTERWARDS THE
LEAD TO THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL
(-).
CHECK THAT THE BATTERY LEADS
AND TERMINALS ARE:
