PREPARATION
1. Remove:
• Steering hook 1 or lock plate
2. Remove:
• Bolts 1
• Grommet holder 2
• Grommet 3
• Bolt 4
• Cable stopper 5
• Grommet 6
• Battery cable
INSTALLATION
1. Install:
• Tiller handle assembly 1
• Self-locking nuts 2
Self-locking nut:
40.0 N • m
(4.0 kgf • m, 29.5 ft • lb)
NOTE:
Do not kink the speedometer hose.
2. Install:
• Grommet 1
• Variable trolling RPM switch lead 2
• Wiring harness 3
• Battery cable 4
• Warning indicator lead 5
NOTE:
Align the taped end a of the battery cable with
the end of the grommet 1.
