12. Adjust:
• Throttle cable joint position
Adjustment steps:
• Turn the throttle grip to the fully closed
position.
• Contact the throttle control lever 1 to the
fully closed stopper 2.
• Adjust the position of the throttle cable
joint until it aligns with the set pin.
WARNING
The throttle cable joint must be screwed
in at least 8.0 mm (0.31 in).
• Install the throttle cable joint 3 onto the
set pin a.
• Install the clip 4 and tighten the locknut

13. Check:
• Throttle operation
Unsmooth operation → Adjust.
Checking steps:
• Turn the shift lever to the neutral position.
• Fully open and close the throttle several
times.
• Check that the throttle valve fully opens
and closes.
