Completely push down the levers at both ends of the fuser unit.
4.
Close the front door.
Paper Jams at the Fuser Unit
1.
Press the button B and open the front
door-B.
2.
Lift the levers at both ends of the fuser unit,
and remove the jammed paper. If the paper
is torn, remove any scraps of paper
remaining inside the printer.
Important
• The fuser is hot. Do not touch, doing so may cause
burns.
Note
• If only a small portion of the jammed paper is visible,
making it difficult to remove, see "Paper Jams
Between the Drum Cartridge and Fuser Unit" (P. 68) to
remove the jammed paper.
3.
Completely push down the levers at both ends of the fuser unit.

Close the front door-B.
