The shaded framing is best installed
after placing the fireplace in

The framing above the fireplace
conceals the top of the fireplace during
installation (shown in dark gray). If
using the side vent configuration, do
not install the framing to the left side as
well (shown in light gray).
NOTE ON GAS INLET:
You may need to notch the framing
for the gas inlet (see "Gas Line
Location" for details.

* The 15.25" (388mm) dimension is based upon 1/2" (13mm) drywall around the perimeter of the
fireplace on both sides. If using thicker drywall (or other facing), you will need to adjust this dimension.
FRAMING WARNING:
Depending upon vent configuration, framing above the fireplace
may be placed flat to the wall (or notched) to allow proper
clearances to the vent.
