27.2 Traceroute Test

The traceroute test tool traces the routing path to the destination through a particular
Ethernet interface or a SpeedFusion TM connection. The traceroute test utility is located
at System>Tools>Traceroute.
Tip
A system administrator can use the traceroute utility to analyze the connection path of a LAN/WAN connection.

27.3 Wake-on-LAN

Peplink routers can send special "magic packets" to any client specified from the Web UI.
To access this feature, navigate to System > Tools > Wake-on-LAN
Select a client from the drop-down list and click Send to send a "magic packet"

27.4 CLI (Command Line Interface) Support

The serial console connector on some Peplink Balance units is RJ-45. To access the
serial console port, prepare a RJ-45 to DB-9 console cable. Connect the RJ-45 end to
the unit's console port and the DB-9 end to a terminal's serial port. The port setting will
be 115200,8N1.
