HAPTER
The VCX V7111 provides the following ways of monitoring the status of the gateway:
Monitoring the VCX V7111 front panel LEDs (see "Monitoring the VCX V7111 Front
Panel LEDs" below).
Monitoring the VCX V7111 rear panel LEDs (see VCX V7111 Rear Panel LEDs on page
46).
Monitoring the VCX V7111 channels via the Embedded Web Server (see "Monitoring the
VCX V7111 Channels" on page 46).

Monitoring the VCX V7111 Front Panel LEDs

The VCX V7111 front panel LEDs indicate the Ethernet LAN status, Data (RTP) activity and
state of the gateway ports. Table 11 describes the meaning of each state of the LEDs on the
front panel.
