Installation

Make sure the switch package contains the following items:

AT-FS201, AT-FS202, or AT-FS203 Fast Ethernet Switch

Four Protective Feet (for standalone use only)

External AC-DC Power Adapter (North America, Continental Europe,

or United Kingdom)

Contact your sales representative if any items are missing or damaged.

Do the following when configuring your switch.

The switch and its link partner must be set to operate at the same

speed and duplex mode. Incorrectly forcing a specific speed or duplex

mode can result in poor performance or no performance at all.

Only configure a port on the switch to full-duplex when connecting to

another switch or when connecting point-to-point to a single

workstation

When connecting the switch to a hub or repeater, you must set the port

to half-duplex at the appropriate port speed for the attached device.
