Configuring the Virtual Connect Manager
To configure the Virtual Connect Manager on an X9720/9730 system, complete the following
steps:
1. From the Onboard Administrator, select OA IP > Interconnect Bays > HP VC Flex-10 >
Management Console.
2. On the HP Virtual Connect Manager, open the SNMP Configuration tab.
3. Configure the SNMP Trap Destination:
Enter the Destination Name and IP Address (the CMS IP).
Select SNMPv1 as the SNMP Trap Format.
Specify public as the Community String.
4. Select all trap categories, VCM traps, and trap severities.
