Restoring an X9720 node with StoreAll 6.1 or later

If you are restoring an X9720 node with StoreAll OS 6.1 or later, the restore process will not work
properly if you are using management IP addresses and credentials that are not the factory defaults.
To resolve this issue:
1. Image the StoreAll OS software on the server blade. (imaging means the software is copied
to the local hard drives of the server blade).
2. Log in to the node. When the installation wizard appears, exit immediately.
3. Open a command prompt and run the following four commands:
Command 1:
/opt/hp/platform/bin/hpsp_credmgmt --init-cred
--master-passwd=hpdefault --hw-username=<Customer username>
--hw-password=<Custom password>
Command 2:
/opt/hp/platform/bin/hpsp_credmgmt --update-cred
--cred-selector=chassis:chassis/oa --cred-type=upwpair
--cred-username=<Custom username> --cred-password=<Custom password>
Command 3:
/opt/hp/platform/bin/hpsp_credmgmt --update-cred
--cred-selector=chassis:chassis/vc --cred-type=upwpair
--cred-username=<Custom username> --cred-password=<Custom password>
Command 4:
/opt/hp/platform/bin/hpsp_credmgmt --update-cred
--cred-selector=chassis:global/ilo --cred-type=upwpair
--cred-username=<Custom username> --cred-password=<Custom password>
4. Exit the command prompt and log into the node again. When the installation wizard appears,
continue with the standard restore process.

Recovering an X9720 or 9730 file serving node

NOTE: If you are recovering blade1 on a StoreAll 9730 system, the Quick Restore procedure
goes through the steps needed to form a cluster. It requires that you validate the chassis components;
however, you do not need to configure or modify the cluster configuration.
