Check idle rpm with control pressure regulator
1.
for throttle valve position connected (engine
warm).
2. Stop engine.
3. Remove filter housing with filter cartridge and
duct.
4 .
Disconnect hose leading to auxiliary air device
above throttle valve a t throttle valve housing
and tightly seal the connector and hose.
5 . Install duct.
6 . Start engine and check idle rpm
NOTE
If a change in rpm is noted, the auxiliary air
device is leaking. If the valve leaks considerably,
it will not be possible to adjust idle speed.
Replace auxiliary air device.
