4.2 Maintenance task reference table [QL1]

The maintenance tasks and intervals for this product are defined in the Maintenance Schedule. The
Maintenance Schedule is a stand-alone publication.
The task numbers in this table provide reference to the maintenance tasks specified in the Maintenance
Schedule.

Maintenance tasks
Visually inspect engine for leaks and general condition.
Check machine room for smell of gas.
Check for abnormal running noises and vibrations.
Check engine oil level in storage tank.
Check valve clearance, adjust if necessary.
Replace air filter.
Replace engine oil filter when changing engine oil, or when the
interval (years) is reached, at the latest.
Check gas lines for leaks, repair if required.
Check ignition timing, adjust if required.
Check emission values, adjust if required.
Replace vent line of engine coolant circuit (8/12/16V only).
Replace spark plugs and seal in spark plug connector.
Replace spark plug connectors.
Measure valve depth.
Replace fine filter.
Carry out visual inspection when replacing air filters.
