16.3 No Connection with the Wireless Access Point
Cannot establish a wireless LAN connection between the
FRITZ!WLAN Repeater and your wireless access point.
Cause
The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater is located outside the wireless LAN
range of your access point.
Help
Reduce the distance between the two devices. Connect the
FRITZ!WLAN Repeater to an outlet in another location.
Cause
The wireless LAN function of your wireless access point is dis-
abled.
Help
Enable the wireless LAN function.
Cause
Your wireless access point is configured to establish wireless
connections only in the 5-GHz frequency band.
Help
Change the settings of your wireless access point so that the
2.4-GHz frequency band is used for the wireless radio net-
work. See the documentation of your wireless access point
for instructions.
