No Wireless LAN Connection with a Computer
No wireless LAN connection can be established between the
FRITZ!WLAN Repeater and a computer.
Cause
The computer's wireless LAN adapter is not ready for opera-
tion.
Help
On some notebooks the wireless LAN adapter must be acti-
vated by flipping a switch on the notebook. Make sure that
the wireless LAN adapter is switched on.
Cause
The computer is located beyond the wireless LAN range of the
FRITZ!WLAN Repeater.
Help
Reduce the distance between your computer and the
FRITZ!WLAN Repeater.
Cause
The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater is not yet connected with the wire-
less access point.
Help
Follow the instructions in the section

Cause
The encryption method set in the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater is dif-
ferent from the one in your computer's wireless LAN software.
Help
Set the same encryption method in your computer's wireless
LAN software as in the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater. To find out
