13 Configuring a Switching Schedule for the Wireless
Radio Network
You can configure a schedule for times at which the wireless network
of the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater is to be turned on and off automatically.
Switching off the wireless network reduces power consumption.
Prerequisite
The switching schedule for the wireless radio network is
available only if the access point of the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater
is a FRITZ!Box.
Default Setting
When the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater connects with the FRITZ!Box,
the switching schedule of the FRITZ!Box is adopted automati-
cally.

Open the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater user interface (see
page 21).
Select "WLAN / Schedule".
Enable the "Use schedule for wireless network" check-
box.
To set up a switching schedule only for the
FRITZ!WLAN Repeater, disable the "Adopt schedule set-
tings from the FRITZ!Box" checkbox.
Set up the switching schedule.
Click "Apply".
