Commissioning

Your remote control is wirelessly con-
nected to the Vitotronic boiler control
unit.
The commissioning and adjusting of the
Vitotronic control unit to local conditions
and to building characteristics, plus the
instruction of the user in operating the
system, must be carried out by your
heating contractor.

Factory setting for the Vitotronic control unit

The Vitotronic control unit is factory-set
to "Heating and DHW".
Central heating
■ Between 06:00 and 22:00 h, rooms
are heated to 20 °C (room temperature
for standard heating mode).
■ Between 22:00 and 06:00 h, frost pro-
tection monitoring is enabled for the
boiler and DHW cylinder (room tem-
perature for reduced heating mode:
3 °C).
■ Your heating contractor can make fur-
ther adjustments for you during com-
missioning.
You can change any settings individu-
ally at any time to suit your require-
ments (see chapter "Central heating"
from page 18).

Introductory information

The settings made at the Vitotronic con-
trol unit are transferred to the remote
control during commissioning.
DHW heating
■ Between 05:30 and 22:00 h, the DHW
is heated to 50 °C. Any installed DHW
circulation pump is on.
■ Between 22:00 and 05:30 h, the DHW
cylinder will not be reheated. Any
installed DHW circulation pump is off.
■ Your heating contractor can make fur-
ther adjustments for you during com-
missioning.
You can change any settings individu-
ally at any time to suit your require-
ments (see chapter "DHW heating"
from page 26).
Wintertime/summertime changeover
■ This changeover is automatic.
Power failure
■ All data is saved if there is a power
failure.
