14 - UNIT AUTOMATIC WASHING
NOTE:
Unit automatic washing is performed daily at the end
of the work shift, when the coffee machine is still op-
erating:
Release the filter holder (1) of the first unit and
empty it.

Remove the filter and insert the blind filter in the
filter holder.
Pour coffee machine detergent into the blind filter;
as for the quantity, follow the instructions on deter-
gent package.
Refit the filter holder on the machine and press
buttons
and
button panel to start the automatic washing stage,
which follows five steps, approximately 3 minutes
long; the following screen will be displayed:

The end of the washing cycle brings the display
back to the normal operation screen.
Remove the filter holder and clean the blind filter,
washing it under running water.
Refit the filter to the unit, enter the programming
screen and repeat the washing stage without pour-
ing detergent in the blind filter; a rinsing stage is
then performed.
After rinsing, remove the blind filter and refit the
normal filter, then dispense one or two coffees to
get rid of any unpleasant taste.
Repeat the automatic washing oper-
ations for all units in the machine.

15. CLEANING
Improper cleaning and mainte-
nance, using non-softened water,
or damage to the internal parts can
cause sudden lack of water flow or
sudden water or steam jets, with
serious consequences. Pay utmost
attention when cleaning and using
the machine.
15.1 - GENERAL WARNINGS FOR
CLEANING
• DO NOT:
use water jets to clean the machine;
use detergents containing alcohol, ammonia or
abrasive sponges to clean the machine; USE
only specific detergents for coffee machines or
dishwashers.
Chemical detergents used to clean the machine
and/or system must be used with care to prevent
wear of the components and damage to the envi-
ronment (biodegradability above 90%).
Clean all parts and components of the machine
fully.

main switch set to "OFF".

to the risk of burns.
