Fan Belt
• Adjust fan belt properly. Loose belt slips and reduces cooling airflow and
electricity generated by altornator. Slippage also reduces belt life.

Maintenance
Inspecting
1.
Open top cover and hold it securely in place
with prop.
2.
Push in the middle of belt to check amount of
bending. If it is not correct, adjust.
NOTE
• Amount of bending: 7mm (0.28in) with 5kgf
(11.0lbf).
Adjusting
1.
Loosen bolt that fixes alternator.
2.
Move altornator to adjust belt tension.
