FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Symptom
Coolant temperature sensor-open
or short circuit detected.
Intake air temperature sensor-
open or short circuit detected.
No normal signal is received from
the O
sensor.
2
Latch up detected.
No normal signal is received from
the lean angle sensor.
Malfunction detected in the prima-
ry wire of the ignition coil.
Engine speed is high when the en-
gine is idling.
Lean angle sensor-open or short
circuit detected.
The ECU (engine control unit) is
unable to monitor the battery volt-
age (an open or short circuit in the
line to the ECU).
Error is detected while reading or
writing on EEPROM (CO adjust-
ment value).
Power supply to the fuel injection
system is not normal.
Faulty ECU (engine control unit)
memory. (When this malfunction is
detected in the ECU (engine con-
trol unit), the fault code number
might not appear on the meter.)
Symptom
No signals are received from the
ECU (engine control unit).
No signals are received from the
ECU (engine control unit) within
the specified duration.
Data from the ECU (engine control
unit) cannot be received correctly.
