OVERCOMING THE SELECTIVE CONTROL

This function allows for accessing PABX directory even from telephones that are not
enabled to make external calls. Especially recommended for extremely important or
emergency numbers.
When programmed, this function makes the selective control not active on the first location
of PABX directory. Program the service with the location of the directory for which the
selective control must be active.
Insert a number from 00 to 40.
Type of service
Overcoming of selective control
To program:
pick up the handset; dialling tone;
dial the access code 333319;
dial the speed number (from 00 to 40);
wait for the acknowledgement tone and hang up.
Example: if the number below has been dialled:
33331909 directory locations from 00 to 08 can be accessed even from extensions that
are not enabled to make external calls.
Note: Insert 00 to access PABX directory only from the telephones enabled to make
outgoing calls. Insert 40 to access PABX directory from any telephone.
Operation
pick up the handset
- dialling tone
dial 71
dial the directory location associated to the desired number
Note
Check the presence of the public network tone after the automatic engagement of the
external line.
