f Proxy data cannot be recorded in the following modes.
- Interval recording (including one-shot recording)
- Loop recording
- When [ONE FILE] is set in the main menu → [REC/PB] → [REC/PB SETUP] → [FILE SPLIT].
- When [ON] is set in the main menu → [REC/PB] → [REC FUNCTION] → [SIMUL REC].
- When [ON] is set in the main menu → [REC/PB] → [REC FUNCTION] → [ONE CLIP REC].
Checking the setting status
By pushing the <MODE CHECK/MENU CANCEL> switch on the camera towards the <MCK/MCL> side three times, you can check the menu values of
the superimposition settings of the recording media, recording mode, and time code display of proxy data through mode check.

Recording the proxy data

Select [PROXY REC(P2)] or [PROXY REC(P2&SD)] in main menu → [REC/PB] → [DUAL CODEC SETUP] → [CODEC USAGE] and press the <REC>
button to start proxy recording at the same time as recording of the materials.
Push the <MODE CHECK/MENU CANCEL> switch towards the <MCK/MCL> side three times to display the proxy data recording information on the
viewfinder screen.

Recording to the SD memory card

To record the proxy data, use SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards with an indication of class2 or higher. For the latest information not included in these

When recording the proxy data to an SD memory card, always format the card using the camera.
Chapter 3 Recording and Playback — Dual codec recording
Sets the delay mode during the streaming distribution. This setting is used when the streaming distribution
is started from the operation of the camera.
This can be set when the main menu → [I/F SETUP] → [USB/LAN] → [STREAMING SETTING] → [START
TRIGGER] is set to [CAMERA].
[NORMAL]: Set if you want to emphasize the stability of streaming.
[SHORT]: Set if you want to emphasize the reduction of streaming delay.
