Network connection

The camera can be connected to the network via wireless LAN, wired LAN, or 4G/LTE.
To use wireless LAN, attach AJ-WM30 (optional) to the <USB2.0> terminal (sub-host).

To use wired LAN, connect a LAN cable to the <LAN> terminal on the rear side.
To use 4G/LTE, connect a 4G/LTE USB modem that is compliant with the <USB2.0> terminal (sub-host).

Available functions

When the camera is connected to network, the following functions are available.
f Checking camera status
f Checking thumbnail images
f Proxy playback
f Downloading proxy file/clip management information
f Displaying/editing metadata
f Adding/deleting metadata (shot mark/text memo)
f Camera remote control (collective operations of recording control and time code/user bits)
f Sending/receiving clips from/to the camera (clip transfer via FTP client function)
f IP remote control of the camera from the Remote Operation Panel (AK-HRP200G)
f Connecting to P2 ROP application
f Streaming function

t When 4G/LTE is used, only the function to send/receive clips from/to the camera (clip transfer via FTP client function) can be used.

Operating environment

The following operating environment is required to connect to network.
f Windows
Microsoft Windows
8.1 Professional 32/64 bit, Internet Explorer 11 (classic view)

f Macintosh
Mac OS X v10.9.x (Mavericks)*, Safari 7
* Operation is guaranteed only when preinstalled or clean installed.
f iPad/iPhone
iOS v7.x
Web browser
A web browser is required to perform web control.
Media player
QuickTime is required for proxy video playback.
To display streaming video using the P2 Browser, VLC Media Player is required for Windows OS and QuickTime Player is required for Mac OS.
Java run time
On computers, Java run time is used for the camera status display. Java is required to display the panel.
