Chapter 8 Connecting to External Devices — Connecting to the remote control unit (AJ-RC10G)

NOTE
t The status adjusted with AJ-RC10G connected will always be recorded on the camera. The setting of [RC DATA SAVE] item in [FUNCTION MENU] of
AJ-RC10G is currently disabled.
t When connecting or removing a dedicated cable, be sure to set the <POWER> switch of the camera and AJ-RC10G to <OFF>.
t Use a cable or optional cable that is dedicated for AJ-RC10G. Otherwise, a malfunction may result.
t The <USER> buttons on the camera (<USER MAIN>/<USER1>/<USER2>) and <MENU> button do not function when AJ-RC10G is connected.
t For details on the current from the <REMOTE> terminal, refer to "Details of the connector signals" (page 255).
t For the software version of AJ-RC10G, use Ver.1.20 or higher.

f When [FIX] is selected in [MODE], the variable range of [SPED] is as follows.
[1/60], [1/100], [1/120], [1/250], [1/500], [1/1000], [1/2000], [HALF], [180.0d], [172.8d], [144.0d], [120.0d], [90.0d],
[45.0d]
Depending on the settings in the camera's main menu → [SYSTEM] → [SYSTEM MODE] → [LINE&FREQ], the values
that can be selected for [SPED] change.
f [SYNCHRO SCAN DISP] is added in the second level. When [S.S] is selected for [MODE], select the unit of the value
to be displayed in [SPED] from either [sec]/[deg]. This change in the unit is also applied to the camera.
f The variable range of [SPED] when [S.S] is selected for [MODE] is as follows.
When [sec] is selected: [1/24.7] to [1/7200] (The values that can be selected change according to the camera's
setting.)
When [deg] is selected: [3.0d] to [359.5d]
f The variable range of [OUTPUT] is as follows.
[MONI], [SDI]
f [Y MIN] and [Y MAX] cannot be set from AJ-RC10G.
f [SCORG] in the third level changes to [SKIN-DTL-EFFECT]. The variable range is [0] to [31].
f In the camera's main menu → [PAINT] → [SKIN TONE DTL] → [DETECT TABLE], items regarding the skin tone table
[C] cannot be set from AJ-RC10G. Since these settings cannot be recorded on a scene file of AJ-RC10G, when a
scene file is loaded, the setting values regarding skin tone table [C] will be changed to different values.
f The variable range of [SELECT] in the fourth level is as follows.
[INH], [S.GAIN], [DS.GAIN], [S.IRIS], [I.OVR], [S.BLK], [B.GAMMA], [D.ZOOM], [ATW], [ATW LOCK], [Y GET], [DRS],
[ASSIST], [C.TEMP], [AUD CH1/3], [AUD CH2/4], [REC SW], [RET SW], [PRE REC], [SLOT SEL], [USB MODE],
[LCD B.L], [FBC], [WFM], [EVF CLR], [REC MEDIA]
f Note that the <USER> button of AJ-RC10G to which [C.TEMP] is assigned does not function.
f The variable ranges of [BLK-GAMMA] in the fifth level are [−8] – [OFF] – [8].
f [RANGE] is added next to [BLK-GAMMA] in the fifth level. The variable range is [1] to [3].
