The Menu/Ident key

This key gives access to the functions offered by the operating system. They differ
according to the terminal status.
• Terminal idle: see summary in "Menu options", Page 50.
• Terminal busy: whether the terminal is busy, waiting for an answer or the correspondent
is already on line, pressing the Menu key displays the available functions.
• The
key may appear in the menus. Pressing this key will display other functions.
Note:
if the Menu key is not proposed, some functions may be deployed in a different
manner, using feature codes. These functions are then described in two ways, via the
Menu/Ident key and feature code.
