Making a call

Calling from call logs

You can call a correspondent whose details have been stored in any of the call logs: The
call logs are described in Chapter
Calling an operator
To reach the person in charge of call distribution:

Calling an internal party by name

You can search in the system directory for the name of the person whose number you do
not know.
Terminal idle:

1 - Press the context
2 - Enter the first character(s) of the surname and/or first name
using the alphanumeric keypad (for more information, see
"Alphanumeric keypad", page 4
For instance:
- To search for Jean Duval, you can enter "J DU" or "DU J" or
"JE D" or "J D", etc.
- To search for Jean Le Gros, the surname must be entered
from the first part of the surname "J L" "JE L" "J LE", etc.
3 - Press
Lookup
to display the first search result.
4 - If several results exist, use the navigation keys to move the
cursor inside the page. Use the context
to change the page.
5 - Select the correspondent.
6 - Then (if you wish) select the type of number to be called
(Office, Home, GSM).
7 - Confirm by pressing the
To call from the secondary line of a multi-line terminal, press
the line key corresponding to this line.
To return to the idle screen:
