[Setting] menu

[Closed caption]

Sets the color of the closed captions and selections.
1) Press ▲▼ to select [Closed caption].
2) Press the <SELECT> button.
z
z The sub menu 2 is displayed.
3) Press ▲▼ to select an item.
[Closed
[Off], [CC1], [CC2], [CC3], [CC4]

z Displays in original colors.
Note
z This function can only be used when the input
signal is composite video or S-video.
z The closed caption is not displayed when the menu
screen is displayed.

[Filter counter]

1) Press ▲▼ to select [Filter counter].
2) Press the <SELECT> button.
z
z The sub menu 2 is displayed.
3) Press ▲▼ to select an item.
■ [Filter counter] z
Displays usage time.
z
z This is displayed in red if a blockage is detected
or if the usage time exceeds the time set in
[Filter counter timer].
■ [Filter counter remaining] z
The remaining time for the filter counter is
displayed in units of 10%.
z
z This is displayed in red when the remaining
time is 10%.
Note
z When the remaining time drops to 10% or below,
is displayed, and when it reaches 0%,
displayed.

■ [Filter type] z
Selects the type of filter to be used.
1) Select [Filter type], and press the
<SELECT> button.
z ▲▼ are displayed over the sub menu 2. z
2) Press ▲▼ to select an item.
[Normal]

3) Press the <SELECT> button.
4) Select [Yes], and press the <SELECT>
button.
Attention
z Always use the projector with the filter installed.
z Select the filter type to be the same as the one you
are using.
■ [Filter counter timer] z
Sets a time to display a notification that the filter
has reached the end of its replacement cycle.
1) Select [Filter counter timer], and press
the <SELECT> button.
z ▲▼ are displayed over the sub menu 2. z
2) Press ▲▼ to select an item.
3) Press the <SELECT> button.
[Off]

Note
z When [Off] is selected, blockages are detected
automatically.
z When the smoke resistant filter (optional) is used,
the set time is selected from among [Off], [10 H],
[15 H], and [20 H].
z When the set time is exceeded,
