Power Connectors

A 24-pin main power supply connector
(J24), two 8-pin CPU power connectors
(JPWR1/JPWR2), and a 4-pin Auxiliary
power connector are located at JF2 on
the motherboard. These power connec-
tors meet the SSI EPS 12V specification
and must be connected to your power
supply to provide adequate power to the
system. See the tables on the right for pin
definitions.
Warning! To avoid damaging the power
supply or the motherboard, be sure to use
a power supply that contains a 24-pin, two
8-pin, and a 4-pin power connectors. Be
sure to connect the 24-pin power connec-
tor at J24, the 8-pin power connectors at
JPWR1/JPWR2, and the 4-pin power con-
nector at JF2 on the motherboard to your
power supply. Failure to do so may void the
manufacturer warranty on your power supply
and motherboard.
