Place the CPU on the socket slowly and carefully.
Hold the CPU with your thumb and index fingers oriented as shown in the figure below.
NOTES:
Align notches with the key on the socket.
Lower the CPU straight down without tilting or sliding it in the
socket.

Lightly press the CPU to the socket, then close the plate.
