The SPA implicitly appends the vertical code sequences entered in the regional
parameter settings to the end of the dial plan. Likewise, if Enable_IP_Dialing is
enabled, then IP dialing is also accepted on the associated line.
Function
For an intersequence tone, enter a comma
between digits to play an “outside line” dial tone
after a user-entered sequence.
EXAMPLE:
An “outside line” dial tone is sounded after the
user presses 9, and the tone continues until the
user presses 1.
For number barring, enter an exclamation point to
prohibit a dial sequence pattern.
EXAMPLE:
The system rejects any 11-digit sequence that
begins with 1900.
Enter an asterisk to allow the user to enter a 2-
digit star code.
For Interdigit Timer Master Override, enter
reduce the short inter-digit timer to 0 seconds, or
enter L0 to reduce the long inter-digit timer to 0
seconds.
For a pause, enter
followed by a number and a
space. The duration of the pause is the specified
number of seconds. This feature is typically used
for implementation of a hot line and warm line,
with 0 delay for the hot line and a non-zero delay
for a warm line.
