PASSENGER GRIP WARMER DOES NOT OPERATE. (VT600)
Check the main fuse,
"IGNITION" fuse and "TAIL" fuse.
Refer to "FUSE INSPECTION" in CHAPTER 2.
OK FAULTY
Check the battery.
Refer to "BATTERY INSPECTION" in CHAPTER 2.
OK OUT OF SPECIFICATION
Check the stator coil and pickup coil.
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM".
OK OUT OF SPECIFICATION
Check the main switch.
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM".
OK NO CONTINUITY
Check the passenger grip warmer.
OK NO CONTINUITY
Check the passenger grip warmer switch.
OK NO CONTINUITY
Check the resistor.
CORRECT INCORRECT
Check the passenger grip warmer relay.
OK FAULTY
Check the load control relay.
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM".
OK FAULTY
Correct the connection and/or
replace the rectifier/regulator
and/or CDI unit.
GRIP WARMER SYSTEM
Replace the main fuse, "IGNITION" fuse and/or
"TAIL" fuse.
Replace and/or charge the battery.
Refer to "BATTERY CHARGING" in CHAPTER 2.
Replace the stator coil assembly.
Replace the main switch.
Replace the passenger grip warmer.
Replace the passenger grip warmer switch.
Replace the resistor.
Replace the passenger grip warmer relay.
Replace the load control relay.
