Power supply

This chapter provides information on how to install, remove or replace power
supply units (PSU) and how to replace the power backplane.
The PRIMERGY TX300 S7 / RX350 S7 server can be equipped with up to four
hot-plug PSU modules that automatically adjust to any mains voltage in the
range of 100 VAC to 240 VAC. Power redundancy is possible in various PSU
configurations (see section
V
CAUTION!
The server supports a mains voltage in the range of 100 VAC to
240 VAC. You may only operate the server if its rated voltage range
corresponds to the local mains voltage.

CAUTION!
Do not disassemble the power supply unit. Doing so may cause
electric shock.
Areas around the power supply unit may remain extremely hot after
shutdown. After shutting down the server, wait for hot components to
cool down before removing the power supply unit.
When installing a power supply unit, ensure that the connector of the
power supply unit is not damaged or bent.
If the power supply unit is hard to remove, do not pull it out by force.
The power supply unit is heavy, so handle it carefully. If you drop it by
mistake, injuries may result.
