The Windows CE Desktop appears on the screen:
Suspend/Resume Mode
If you press the On/Off key, the Allegro goes into suspend mode.
When you turn it back on, it resumes in the same place it was at
before you turned it off. For example, if a PTab spreadsheet file was
on the screen when you turned the Allegro off, the same spreadsheet
screen appears when you turn the Allegro back on. (If the batteries are
drained or left out of the Allegro for more than five minutes, the
Allegro restarts instead of resuming. Refer to the Chapter 2 section
entitled Batteries for details.)

Display Touchscreen

The display has a touchscreen used to activate programs in Windows
CE and to make selections. The touchscreen works similar to a mouse.
