Microsoft CE 3.0 Embedded Visual Tools
To develop Windows CE programs that run on the Allegro CE, you
need Microsoft's Embedded Visual Tools 3.0, which includes
eMbedded Visual Basic

Embedded Visual Tools is also available on disk from Microsoft for a

Installation
To install the development language you are going to use (eMbedded
Visual Basic or eMbedded Visual C++), follow the installation
instructions that came with the development language from
Microsoft.

Allegro CE 3.0 Software Development Kits (SDKs)
The Allegro SDKs are located on the Allegro CE CD-ROM. There is
one SDK for eMbedded Visual Basic users and one for eMbedded
Visual C++ users. The SDKs that come with eMbedded Visual Tools
do not work with the Allegro. Hence, you need to use the Allegro
specific SDK in your development.
Installation
Select Browse from the Allegro CE CD-ROM and locate the SDK folder.
Two SDK files are available: ALLEGRO_CE eVC++ SDK.exe and
ALLEGRO_CE eVB SDK.exe. Double-click on the SDK that is
appropriate for your development language. (If you have installed
both languages, install both Allegro SDKs).
