5. Apply grease to the steel ball and insert the
steel ball into the clutch shaft hole.
6. Apply grease to the return spring and insert the
return spring (Figure 10-36, (1)) into the
magnetic switch hole.
7. Install the plate washer (Figure 10-36, (2)) to
the magnetic switch.

8. Install the idler gear (Figure 10-37, (1)) and
bearing (Figure 10-37, (2)) to the starter
housing.
