7. Using a piston ring expander, install the oil ring
with the end gap (Figure 5-137, (1)) facing the
opposite side of the coil joint
(Figure 5-137, (2)).

8. Using a piston ring expander, install the piston
rings with the identification marks facing up
(Figure 5-138).

9. Install the piston rings with the ring end gaps as
shown in Figure 5-139.

10. Align the connecting rod bearing claw
