Large................Select
this when using speakers that can fully reproduce low sounds of below 80 Hz.
Small . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ..Select this when using speakers that cannot reproduce low sounds of below 80 Hz with sufficient volume.
When this setting is selected, low frequencies of below 80 Hz are assigned to the subwoofer.
None .._.. ._....._. Select this when no speakers are installed.
Yes/No... . . . . . . . . ..Select "Yes" when a subwoofer is installed, "No" when a subwoofer is not Installed.
Zspkrs/lspkr.....Select
the number of speakers to be used for the surround back channel.
I If the subwoofer has sufficient low frequency playback capacity, good sound can be achieved even when "Small" is set for the front, center
and surround speakers.
% To take full advantage of the performance
of the Home THX certified speaker systems, set the front, center and surround speaker size
parameters to "Small" and the subwoofer to "Yes".
% For the majority of speaker system configurations,
using the SMALL setting for all five main speakers and Subwoofer On with a connected
subwoofer wilt yield the best results.
% When "Front" is set to "Small",
"Subwoofer"
is automatically set to "Yes", and when "Subwoofer"
is set to "No", "Front"
