10. Install solenoid and connect wires. If removed
install governor pressure switch.
11. Install detent roller and spring assem bly to valve
body.
12. A lign lube holes in suction screen with those in
valve body and install screen gasket and screen.
Be sure lube holes in screen m atch up with those in
valve body.
Governor and Vacuum Modulator
1. Install governor assembly, "O" ring and cover seal.
Install retainer wire.
2. Install vacuum m odulator valve.
3. Install vacuum m odulator and retainer clip. Torque
bolts to 130 in. lb. (143 N -m ).
1-2 Accumulator
1. Install 1-2 accum ulator piston assembly.
2. Install accum ulator spring.
3. Install new "O" ring seal in groove in case before

4. Install 1-2 accum ulator cover and retaining ring.

1. Lubricate with petrolatum and install new 'O '-ring

SPECIAL BOLTS
2. Install electrical connector with tabs facing into the
case.
3. C onnect solenoid wire to electrical connector.
Transmission Oil Pan and Gasket
Install new gasket and oil pan.
