6. R em ove auxiliary valve body and support plate
attaching bolts. R em ove auxiliary valve body and support
plate.
7. R em ove spacer plate and gaskets.
8. R em ove five (5) check balls from case, not locations.
(Figure 7A 5-18)
9. R em ove oil pump screen and clean.
10. R em ove governor feed screen from case and clean.
11. R em ove park lock special attaching bolts and
(Figure 7A 5-14) park lock. If it becom es necessary to
rem ove the internal linkage, oroceed as follows.
a. Loosen nu* holding r.„, ge selector inner lever to
m anual shaft. i vui). on m anual shaft and rem ove nut.
R em ove m anual shaft and nut.
b. R em ove range selector lever parking pawl actuator
rod from case. D isassem ble inner lever from parking pawl
actuator rod (Figure 7A5-21).
c. R em ove m anual shaft to case lip seal replace if
required.
d. R em ove parking pawl disengaging spring (Figure
7A5-22).
