Check items
Is cassette or LCF properly installed?
Too much paper loaded in cassette or LCF?
Paper corner folded?
Cassette or LCF side guides properly set?
Is surface of paper feed roller dirty?
Defective mounting of roller to shaft?
Registration roller spring out of place?
Pre-registration guide improperly
mounted?
Original scale slanted?

Measures
Re-install cassette or LCF properly.
Reduce paper to 600 sheets or less.
(1500 sheets or less for LCF)
Change paper direction and reinsert.
Adjust side guides.
Clean roller surface with alcohol, or replace roller.
Check and fasten E-rings, pins, clips and setscrews.
Mount spring correctly. Clean roller if it is dirty.
Correct it.
Adjust it.
