Appliance Setup

A. Remove Fixed Glass Assembly
WARNING! Risk of Asphyxiation! Handle fixed glass
assembly with care. Inspect the gasket to ensure it is
undamaged and inspect the glass for cracks, chips or
scratches.
• DO NOT strike, slam or scratch glass.
• DO NOT operate fireplace with glass removed, cracked,
broken or scratched.
• Replace as a complete assembly.
1. Remove front casting by grasping it at the top and
lifting up. If the stove is already installed in a top vented
configuration, the top casting will need to be lifted slightly
to accommodate removal of the front casting. See Figure
10.1. Set front casting aside on prepared work surface.
2. Release both glass latches at the lower corners of the
appliance. Remove glass from appliance. See Figure 10.2.

FRONT CASTING
B. Remove the Shipping Materials
Remove shipping materials from inside or underneath the
firebox.
C. Clean the Appliance
Clean/vacuum any sawdust that may have accumulated
inside the firebox or underneath in the control cavity.
