6.5 The IPv6 screen

Click Network > LAN > IPv6 to open the IPv6 screen. Use this screen to configure the IPv6
settings for your Device's LAN interface. See
about IPv6.

DESCRIPTION
Select Enable to activate IPv6. Select this option to enable IPv6 for this LAN
connection.
Similar to an IPv4 subnet mask, IPv6 uses an address prefix to represent the
network address. The Device uses the prefix to generate an IPv6 address.
Select this option to automatically obtain an IPv6 network prefix from the
service provider or an uplink router.
Select a WAN interface through which you want to get an IPv6 network prefix.
You should already have configured a WAN service with IPv6 enabled.
Select this option to configure a fixed IPv6 network prefix for the Device's LAN
interface.
Enter the IPv6 prefix that the Device uses to generate its LAN IPv6 address.
