Highly Transparent Originals

Using transparencies and translucent paper for the original.

Place the original in the same way as the sheet originals.

Place a blank white sheet of paper
of the same size over the original.

Gently lower the original cover or duplexing document feeder.

Making Copies from A Book Using Book Copy Mode

"Book" refers to an open bound original.

Place the open book so that its top
edge is at the rear of the copier and
the center of the book is aligned
with the book marker indicated on
the original length scale.

Gently lower the duplexing
document feeder or original cover.
NOTES
è If the book is thick, make a copy with the duplexing document feeder
or original cover raised.
